Waggoner comes from a classical music background with 17 years of formal training. She graduated with a Music Composition & Orchestration degree from Louisiana State University in 2006. After graduating, she left for Nashville and began developing her current music Brooke Waggoner has now released three albums independently, with all music being fully written, orchestrated and arranged by her. Brooke's debut release was an EP titled Fresh Pair of Eyes (2007) called "one of the most exciting releases to come out of America in 2007" by the London Sunday Times. Brooke was nominated for an Independent Music Award for "Best Folk/Singer-Songwriter Album" in 2009. NEUEN - "Any Way You Want It" by Journey - 2012 REMIX

This has always been one of my favorite Journey tunes... I found the studio vocal tracks featuring Steve Perry and was able to recreate the tune by locking to the vocal track... This is the result... This tune will never appear on one of my CDs, nor will it be sold... It was simply an honor to record this remix with, in my opinion, the best singer in roll and roll... In recording the different tracks for this tune, the bass guitar and electric guitars tracks were a breeze compared to the drums... Trying to recreate something that Steve Smith originally created was humbling to say the least... I slaved over the drums, because how do you recreate perfection without falling short... I used my Music Man electric guitar, one of my Fender Strats, and my favorite bass guitar, a Warrior 5 string... I did change the progression during the chorus to make things a little different... And I threw in a vocal break down that I've never heard Journey do, so things are a little different...! After thinking of different videos that I could put this song with, I decided on Cowgirls... Barrel Racing Cowgirls to be exact... Journey and Cowgirls... Just doesn't get any better than that! Enjoy! Comments and hopefully "Likes" are always welcome...
